We're in for a nice cooling trend...daytime temps in the lower 70's with cool nights of temps in the 50's. I'm loving it. NO HEAT.
Thanks for this!

The wind has been gusting for a week now. Pretty tired of it!

Still nice and mild, I like the cool nights....but I hear it will heat up again for Thankgiving. Not too hot..upper 70's, but that's still not "cooking weather." It's just not cozy for fall at all..

Uuuhhhh!!!!

It's so windy at my house right now!! The lights are flickering and I can actually see my windows bowing in and out with the gusts. It is roaring and sounds like a big dump truck circling my apartment. The rain is falling sideways and it is hailing on and off.

I'm kind of concerned about tornadoes?

Cold and Breezy out now; earlier this morning, a light snow, but stopped after about 2 hours.

Well, this happens every year at this time it seems....It's HOT, dry, and windy. Temps in the 80's with such low humidity that my eyes and skin itch, and I have to run my humidifier all the time. Also, thank goodness for Claritin! Dry air wreaks havoc on my sinuses/allergies!

This is definitely not "slaving over the stove" weather, not that I'm doing that today!
Thanks for this!

Kentucky......this is my second year here....both previous years we have had snow flurries by now.....but not this year. We had a cooler than normal summer (I never used the AC once). Really thought the winter was going to start much earlier as even our fall was short....the leaves turned one week, a freeze hit & the rest of the leaves turned brown & fell off the trees...not much of the beautiful colours that we had last year.

It's 38 now & was raining when I left the restaurant with my neighbors who invited me out for Thanksgiving dinner. I was planing on driving up north a little to visit my friend who is stuck in the hospital for Thanksgiving....but my dogs left me such a mess to clean up when I got home from dinner that I thought that driving on wet streets in this temp might not be a good idea.....after dark it might get rather slippery.

I am only using room heaters as of now, the heating company hasn't come back to hot wire my heat pump for heating yet......hmmmm, wonder if setting my AC for the temp of 70 would warm up the rooms to that temp....lol.....it's pretty cold in here with the outside temp of 38....indoor temp in the high 50's........thank heavens for dog's with fur....they definitely love to snuggle in the cold temps also....so they keep me warm...have you ever tried typing with mittens on???? quite a challenge......lol...not bad though really. guess gloves would work better...can type but can't get the mouse to move with mittens or gloves on with my laptop

It's not easy to type with gloves on, I know! Hard to repot my plants wearing gloves too, also trimming or pruning them.

It's not cold enough for me to use the heat yet, but I have to vacumn the bottom of it out first (all that dust), or the smell when I first turn it on will knock my socks off. The cold won't really start until January.

Thanksgiving dinners are meant for cold days, not HOT.

Mostly cloudy in the mid-60's, with cool nights (upper 40's to lower 50's.....but hey THAT'S cold to US).

They are predicting actual "measurable rain" for every day next week starting Monday, but I'll believe it when I see it.....It usually pours in the mountains only while it's sunny in the city. So we'll see.......

I hope it does rain, it's been too dry here. It will finally FEEL like December!!!!!

Here in Michigan, it has just started to snow last week. Yay! And by mid-January, I'll be sick of it

Right now it's cold and cloudy, but not snowing. I love it when the sky is full of thick dark clouds, yet the sun is out. So cool!

Ok, this is not good, the guy that was supposed to come & hot wire my broken heat pump isn't going to be here until Monday afternoon. We had snow the other night. The house is sitting at 42F....I have a room heater that I am huddling around just to stay warm as it was 18F outside last night.....it's only going to get down to 30 tonight....but supposed to snow tomorrow morning...nothing to stick, but still messy.

I haven't even gone outside cause I don't want to get colder & not have a good way to warm up.

Oh I love my hot shower....but I can't live in it

GGRRRRRR

Brrrrrrr!!!! That "heavy rain and wind" LOCAL forecast did not pan out around here yesterday (and this from The Weather Channel). But it's in the 30's-40's at night, and 50's during the day. COLD for us!

We have a couple of dry (and cold) days coming before it's SUPPOSED to rain again, this time on & off for FOUR days (unusual). At least it will be a "warmer" storm. More moisture should mean measurable rain here...

I've been using the heater so much, but the downside is that it DRIES out the air so much! My humidifier is not powerful enough to maintain a comfortable level of moisture with the heater on so much. (I'm sensitive to low humidity) But it's just too cold not to use it all.

I'm having it checked out for safe operation tomorrow, since I see white residue.

And for some reason, they are blasting the A/C here in the library. Hard to type with such cold fingers....Gloves make it hard to type.
Thanks for this!

We got about 3-4inches on Saturday/night that was wet and heavy. By Sunday morning the winds had come through and dried it out so it wasn't hard to do the shoveling YAY

Tonight and tomorrow we're expecting that horrid storm from the central coming on us. Calling for 5-9 inches before it turns to sleet and freezing rain, then possible rain. Ugggh I hate those kinds of storms. I'm old and shoveling doesn't come easy these days. Not looking forward to this one at all.

But......it gives me the day to play on the puter since I get to stay home with the individual I care for. So, computer and baking and movies are on the agenda for tonight and tomorrow! WooooooooooHooooooooooo!!!

North-east Nevada here.
Been sub for many nights straight now. About mid to high teens during days.

Got the second snow of season yesterday...bout 4 inches, (yukka), but that is way below average for this area. More snow due later this week...What joy. At least that warms it up some outdoors.

I remain indoors mostly, anyhow. Keep the wood stove blazin and the water bed turned up....lol....comfies.

I hate the cold!! I miss Cali.
