Fried butter and donut burgers. Maybe they will have some ambulance drivers on standby. If not, brown bag it! Also, look around and see what types of folks are lining up for that stuff. Whoa . . . and here I worry about my paper-thin turkey breast on crackers - well, okay, cheese, too. We all have our weakness. billieJ

.

The South has many wonderful things, healthy food is not one of them though.

In addition to fried butter, there is also fried snickers (don't ask) turkey legs, that are not from an actual turkey, and on and on.

I understand what you are saying though, I stay away from all of it myself, I have to.

Wow! Fried snickers and fried butter? That I was never aware of, and I've lived in NC for 9 years.

That's so gross. After my mother suffered several strokes, I became very aware of what I put in my body. Even though she was only 118lbs - she had clogged arteries from eating buter, fat off of steaks instead of cutting it off. She smoked and never exercised. I became determined not to suffer the same fate. I refuse to eat junk like that!!
