I am going to make a presentation before the managing trustees of a social sector organisation on the weaknesses and observations found during their audit. The audit was carried out by me and all the observations (which counted to 33 in the beginning and now left to humble 9) were identified by me. Now I am going to present before them their own shortcomings and ommissions . This gives a great feeling but on the other hand I am feeling little nervous as it is my first experience of such kind. Many butterflies in my stomach. Let see how it goes, I have to prepare the presentation on avery short notice like 4 hours to go. I will share with you the outcome!
Wish me luck!

Regards
ZILCH HOUR

P.S.: World's largest rabbit got heart attack due to stage fright few weeks back when presented before people in some circus.

It well fine indeed. Just before entering the meeting room, I thought that people in there do not know anything and all they ver going to know will be the words I'd say. I was amazed to see that this was true. The trustees had not even bothered to take a single look at the letter or the agenda, this gave me a lead. I said all I had to and they had to agree. All in all, the meeting and presentation was fine.
The important thing in audit is not to offend the client. I think I was able to maintain the balance because telling weaknesses and wrong doings to any person is pretty difficult. So I sort of gift wrapped every bad comment and they accepted it quite happily.
All is well that ends well!!!

Well the gift wrapping you advised, I already employ it under the name of sugar coating.

The client felt very comfortable with the way I had handled things there and the latest evidence in this regard is that he has reauested my manager to send me again for this year's audit. It was two way learning process and i am glad they have improved the things relating to my observations. So it turned out to be a win-win situation.

Thanks for the advice Gabi. I appreciate the time, effort and attention you paid to my petty little problem. Thank you very much!

Oh Tishie!

Now I get it. It reminded me of a real rabbit. A couple of months ago I was listening to radio and the host talked about the world's largest rabbit. When he was presented before the audience, he died of heart attack beacuse of stage fright. Yes I surely surpassed that poor rabbit.

Thanks for the explanation.
