Go to Quick Links, Social Groups. At the very bottom is "create a social group." Ta-da! You have yourself a social group. Enjoy!

One more question..... I went to the link and found all the social groups that have been formed by other members and now I am wondering why all of them do not show up on the main page under Social Groups Forums?

Is this due the settings put in place when the forum was created? - and if that is the case, what setting do I need to pick if I want it to be viewable by all?

Thanks.

I'm thinking it only shows the most recent activity. I could be wrong, hopefully someone who knows for sure will be able to answer.
