We ended up with about 13 inches of snow! School is supposed to start Monday, and the kids get to wear casual clothes. The girls really like this since they have to wear jumpers and skirts. They don't even have to wear uniform shirts. As long as they clothes are respectable, no holes, no obscene graphics they can wear them.

schoool is supposed to start again tomorrow here as some have exams but we will see in the morning i wil be listning to the local radio and awaiting the txt from school also got to monitor the travel arrangments for daughter to get bk to london to uni and now a hosp up there as she needs another cast put on as they only put a back slab on her arm here

No snow here. Just freezing temps at night, grey skys during the day. But you see, this was the year I was going to teach myself snow sculpting. Was going to do a sculpture of me in the nude. Sigh...I may have to wait again until next winter.
Thanks for this!

It is cold here in Florida. I envy the people who get to see the snow. I am origonally from Massachusetts and love snow. I have not seen a storm since about 4 years. I really miss it. Peace-Dennis

Our drive is like a large skating rink, I took the dogs out this morning to the field at the side of the house (not ours but a nice farmer lets us use it) I shouted and shouted but the dogs would not come back.

Hubby is in bed as he had the car accident and the other side of the house is a busy road.

In the end I thought I have no choice I have to get hubby up to get the dogs back ! On the way back I fell over and couldnt get up lmao..... Had to crawl on the ice to the edge where we have a pile of grit to be laid when the ice melts and climb up that lmao.
Thanks for this!

Oh dear, glad you could see the humour in it.

The snow appears to be more or less gone here but because we had a weather warning my shift got cancelled. Now, I think the weather warning was wrong and I can't go to work. We'll see, but I can't see the snow coming back here now.

As you know, I have been praying hard for snow and nothing... well, I was checking my email last night and saw that I have received thousands of emails from all over the world that all say "CUT IT OUT"! Seems I forgot to specify location! So sorry to those who did not want snow, and your welcome to those enjoying the snow. I did not have anything at all to do with the Hati earthquake.
