I'm having problems getting into chat. When i click on a room or who's in chat i get a yellow star with an orange exclamation point in the star. I don't know why.

I just downloaded to Windows 8 and updated Java. I also deleted history and cookies. My pop blocker is off.

I don't know what else to do to fix this. If anyone knows the secret, please share with me. Just do it in layman's terms.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
chal

Frankly, I've had nothing but problems with Internet Explorer version 8. I have it on my little netbook and it bombs out on me all the time and shuts down windows at will with no explanation. All my other computers in the house have IE 7 on them and it works much better. I always advise people that anytime you are installing new software, disable your virus protection. One thing you can do is to uninstall it by going into Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs, and Uninstall IE 8, reboot your computer, turn off any programs that run in the background, like your antivirus, and try installing it again.

Good luck.
