I've had that happen before, as well, except mine was cooking beef heart for my muttleys....Gross smell as it already is (usually add whole garlic in it to improve the odor), but when burnt....Ewwwwww.

Wow Amanda, that some burnt pancake. I'm very forgetful when I'm toasting garlic bread or hamburger buns in the oven - I burned some 2 days ago. This has also happened with grilled cheese sandwiches - and what's worse is, I try to salvage it, by scraping off the burnt parts with a knife lol. Thanks for sharing your pictures and funny life moments.

yep, it is indeed (or at least it was supposed to be) a pancake LOL. It actually looks a lot bigger than it really was cause I zoomed in and did a close up (I just now realized I have a certain button on my camera that's specifically there to take close up pics lol..) The poor pancake was so burnt, there was no way to salvage it lol.. not even my dog would eat that LOL. (Although I'm sure he's eaten worse!)

Now that you mention it, I got looking at it and there is one light spot (the half moon type thing right above the line at the bottom)... doesn't it kinda look like a merman swimming in the air? or water I guess LOL. Really polluted water! ok yeah, I have wayyyy too much time on my hands lol
