I'm 21. I feel I have missed out on ALOT of normal things. Because of my social anxiety I didnt/dont have friends and school never really worked for me.

Hey! I'm 22, recently finished university and had a lot of problems with my mental illness throughout the time I was there. Maybe pop into chat if you fancy it? I'm in there quite a lot, and quite a lot of others in there will have been through the same sort of stuff.

Hi. I'm 22. I tried to go to online college. I went from May to October. I got 12 credits. But I was disqualified for my slipping grades due to my mental illnesses (PTSD and Major Depression mostly). I failed to complete assignments and then turn them in on time. My late assignments kept piling up. I wish I could having finished it, but I'm glad that I don't have the extra stress anymore. Although, the financial stress is becoming a much bigger issue and if I had stayed in college I would have had the money to live off of. I may have to start paying back a portion of tuition that was not covered by financial aid in May, and I don't have the money for it at all. I don't even have money for a place to live and may be in a shelter soon with my son. I cannot work, because my mental illnesses are so debilitating, and I have no professional mental health care. I'm in a sticky one with almost no support around. I have social anxiety from trust issues, but I would still have loved to be in the social setting of a regular college, since I'm so isolated. But I have many obstacles.

I'm currently taking time off of school but I would be on my 2nd year of college if I were in school now! If you need someone to talk to PM me anytime. See you around, take care.
