Is this one of those life crises?

I woke up at 2am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Seemed like a good idea at the time so I pierced my nose.

Now, before you start thinking I'm off my meds, it's actually something I'd planned and prepared for, purchased the proper equipment and had considered for quite some time. A cute little tiny piercing on the side of the nose is quite sexy, if you ask me.

When I wake up early in the a.m. like that, my head is clear and I am calm so it was the perfect time. However, little did my slumbering husband know sitting next to him his wife was punching holes in her face.

He likes it, by the way.

So do I.

My mother got her ears pierced when she was 74.

Go Vicky! We need more pierced women in the world My mom won't do it because she thinks she's too old...pssshh, the guy who did mine said an 80 something year old woman came into the shop and had him pierce her.

Ha ha! This made me smile (something I kind of needed atm) I think a little diamond on the nose (or eyebrow) is very sexy- good for you!

Haha! You so rock Vickie! I totally get my nosed pierced but school requires no piercings. So looks like I'm going to have to wait until I get out school but nope not a crisis. I pierced my ears with tooth picks when I was 14 so my grandma would get me lady bug earrings that she promised to get me when I had my ears pierced. So I went home and pierced them! Got them the next day

I comment to those with nose pierces that you would think modern medicine could find a better way to fill those holes than an ill-fitting metal cap. Most look at me like I must have escaped from an alien space ship.
