Did you click the box in 'edit options' then click 'save'? Could it be an adjustment in the actual email account? Did it not appear an an email or it just didn't pop up to tell you, you got a new email?
For example if I'm signed in to my email and I get a PM from PC it pops up saying I got a email.

Did all the above and nothing ? I have not changed my email addy and recieved my news letter so have no idea why its not working.

So you went to edit options on your profile and clicked to receive email notification and scrolled down and clicked SAVE? I can't think of anything else - hopefully someone else will have an idea. Good luck.
