So, there's this gossip queen/attention *hore dude at work, that not only puts his nose where it doesn't belong, but is always trying to(mostly successful) to stir up trouble. Only two people there are really his friend, everyone else just tolerates him, because calling him out to his face would just cause more drama than he's worth. So, I find out from my friend/coworker (who's dating my bf's best friend) that the queen is planning to have this other guy tell my bf that I'm seeing someone else. She couldn't believe it, I'm glad she told me, I already warned my bf, but I'm pretty sure he wouln't have believed it anyways, given the ultimate source(plus, he knows I would never do that, we love each other too much). So frustrating. He acts like he's such an angel, but is really a meddlesome man *hore. So annoying. I think he's also been signing my phone up for things, as I've recently gotten a couple random texts on my phones that that I've had to reply 'stop' to. I went against me nature and signed him up for more info on viagra just to get him back a bit, but I'm really annoyed at this whole situation. What is there to do? Nothing. Or so it seems, everyone is so tightly woven, it seems the best thing to do is ignore his antics. I guess I just had to vent.

I agree. Back off to avoid his drama. Focusing on the positive things should really help everyone.

He isn't worth your time. He's probably been this way his entire life and enjoys the attention and humor he gets from being this way.
Although, if he's using your phone number, that may be something worth filing a complaint about as that is personal information. Other than that, just ignore him as best you can. |

It sure can be frustrating when someone acts like that. I think we all would love to be able to get them back and have it be the last word kind of thing. But it will never happen that way.
I learned a long time ago that when being subjected to that kind of person, the less attention you give, the less fun it is for them and they move on to someone else. As hard as it can be to hold back and not play their game, it's really worth it in the long run. Sorry you have to go through this. Wish you luck on ignoring the flippin maroon ![]() |

I always wonder how anyone who is working has the time to go out of their way to harrass someone. I'd ignore him too unless he uses the phone and then I'd go to HR.
Good luck. He sounds creepy. |

Yeah, things are better now, He apparently got bored with bugging me, and we're both publicly cordial with each other.

I had trouble with a guy like that once. Cordial is the best way I find. After a while, if they don't get bored, they feel guilty. Life does go on, whether they like it or not. HUggs, and I'm glad he found another street to walk!
