So, this is a completely random question. I got to thinking about a "what if" situation. What if your T or pdoc had an account on PC and they figured out who you were by what you had posted here... If they asked you in a session "are you (insert username)?" would you answer honestly?
I know it would make me uncomfortable if I was asked this, but I'd probably admit to it if he did ask. I'd probably ask what his username was just to see if he'd answer. Now the likelyhood that my pdoc has an account on here is slim to none, so I don't think I have anything to worry about. ![]() How would others react? |

I would answer honestly. To achieve a good result in therapy, the client must be open and honest to receive the therapist's best work. I doubt my therapist would learn anything about me if he/she were here.

First, I wouldn't give any Doctor's where I am currently living my username---
When I get back to the East Coast; prayerfully; I'll finally get a good pdoc, and therapist whom I can trust.........I miss my old pdoc he was sooo great!!!--theo Postscript: Really good question, Squirrel 1983.....thanks!!!-----theo |

I would let them know. I've been fortunate, my current Doc and T have been the two most supportive people in my life and that I trust. If something I posted helped gain insight for treatment, I see it as beneficial.
