Fathers Day wish

I have a great dad who, as the years go by, I appreciate more and more. I am a father myself and it has been the single most rewarding 'job' I have ever had. I love being my father's son and my daughter's father; I have been so incredibly fortunate.

I know that there are many who were not as lucky as I was and I found myself just now feeling really sad about that and wishing I could take away all the pain and hurt that consumes those children and those who used to be children... I know that I can't but...

I'm human and I'll fail but not today. Maybe tomorrow. Today, I resolve that everyone I cross paths with both in rl and online - I'm going to see everyone as a father sees his child. Today I will have enough love for everyone. So today if you're missing your father, or you're missing the father you never had or the one you wish you had... I know I'm not your father, but if you will, please accept the love of a father anyway.
