Hi, we are a happily married couple, new to Florida, and looking to make some friends. If you live in Florida or have friends or family here that would be interested in meeting a couple of middle aged harmless folks, that are starting a new life. Let me know. We like books, movies, motorcycling, fishing, boating, museums, ren-fairs and a large variety of other things. Sorry but we are not big sports fans or partying type people. We have 2 cats, but love animals both wild and domestic. We grew up on a horse farm. And moved to Florida because my medical problems, was told the warmer climate would be better for me. Hope to here from someone. Thank you.

Hi, LostSavant!

We too are a happily married couple OLD to Florida (been here 33 years), and would be happy to be your email or PC friends in Florida. We're rather reclusive and have a very restricted social life (if we can be said to have one at all). So why don't we get to know each other here on PC or by email (I'll pm my email to you) and then we'll see how to take it from there. First thing, of course, is where you've settled? Second thing, again of course, is feel free to ask us just about any question you want about Florida, its inhabitants, sights to see, government, cities, universities, quirks, foibles, self-image, food, etc. And where are you coming from? Oh, you'll also probably need an education in hurricanes, the real season for which is coming right up (though it officially started on June 1). Okay! The rest by pm or email!

Take care!
