This is a really cool lady who makes it her "secret mission" to do randomly kind things for strangers. One of those kind things was raising money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. She's really neat and I wanted to share such a positive story with everyone else.

Cool! I love to hear these kinds of stories.

I used to volunteer at a homeless shelter and was shocked at the lack of boys clothes -- was told most shelters supply of little boys clothes are almost nill..... (girls get loads but not boys) so now whenever I go to a yard sale i look for good condition boys clothes and buy a few items for a dollar or two or look at clearance stuff at walmart and Target-- it's amazing how I've gotten new shirts for 50 cents to 1 dollar... and then when I get a bag full of little boys clothes.. I take it to a shelter for the little boys.

it's amazing how just a little thing done can make the world a better place for someone else.

thanks for sharing this story

Oh that's such a good idea about the clothes! I wonder if it's because boys are so hard on clothes that they usually aren't in the greatest condition when they outgrow them? My son is sooo hard on things that when he's done, they usually end up as play clothes for his little cousins or (the tshirts) pjs.

I'm going to start doing that too though. Very good idea.

Thanks for posting this. I am going to sign up and maybe be secret agent S. Nothing feels so great as doing something for someone just because.

I, too, live my life this way...I often give rides to strangers, hug people in tears, encourage them to follow their dreams as I have done..it is a great way to live!!
