I was reading about them and it says they live under bark and sometimes get into cars and go for under the visor, etc. So, I can see why, in the microwave, they went for under the turntable; but how could it get in without you "noticing"? Bet with the next microwave you make sure it's shut all the way all the time

Yeah they do get in some real bastard places, they are able to contort themselves into really small spaces. I have a bit of a habit of not closing things properly, so I would have just left the microwave door open and in it went. I just went to look under the turntable for some reason (I can't even remember why I went to look under there anymore, all I remember is spider) and there it was. It was the LAST thing I was expecting to see!
I had a friend offer to come get rid of it for me, what I was thinking of doing was just seeing if I could find my hand vac and sucking it up without looking. I just, you know, LOOK at it, I peaked under it yesterday from a distance like I said and it was definitely there, but I just can't touch it. I think huntsmans scare me more when they're dead than when their alive! My microwaves looking pretty dodgy inside as it is so I guess this is a good excuse to see if anyone is getting rid of a microwave. |

I would feel sick more-so because I killed the spider... I have an unusually strong sympathy for animals.
But yeah, I could imagine why you would feel disgusted.
