I do it all the time everyday if I am not working.

I have been on since 10am today its 610pm now. I have been speaking to people on Facebook, MSN'in and also been on Youtube listening to music. I am in the process of doing my ironing oh the chore that is. Sometimes I get bored. But mainly I enjoy coming online and sitting for a while on here.

I also watch tv/dvds etc so not getting myself too bored

I spend a lot of time online and for the most part I really enjoy it. I find the computer/internet very compelling and I use it for work, leisure, socializing, education, you name it!!! The main thing I have to watch out for is that my back, neck and shoulders start hurting after sitting here for too many hours!

I do think it's important to do other things as well though. If you are getting tired of being online, is it possible to arrange to meet friends "for real" and do things together? Go into town? To a movie? Out for coffee? Out for a hike? Or take up some kind of sport?

i wish i didn't, these days i live at the puter, even if i get up in the middle of the night to go to the washroom i end up sitting down and chatting for a while. but the distraction of the computer is just about the only thing that takes my mind off my troubles. anything else like reading my mind is too frazzled to concentrate on. the one thing i would recommend if you're not already doing it, is some sort of easy to play online game where you can chat to other people, live people. it really helps not to be alone. and many of them are very non judgemental and very supportive. (I play evony age 1, i could probably find a couple other easy to play ones for you if you'd like)
