I love this site for several reasons - first I got to meet some very nice people. When I first stumbled upon this site, I was a distraught person - my brother ended his life one month prior and I had a secret that I couldn't share with anyone IRL.
This site came me the chance to literally 'unload' my worries and vent my frustrations. I started reading posts and responding to other members posts and I realized I could help some with my words. Sharing my own experiences, along with the fact that I've survived these bad stages, reminded me that I can survive.

I love this site because of people like you Tish! When I first came one you were very kind. We were able to agree to disagree civilly and still remain great friends. I so miss those days.

Everyone on here has had a variety of dif experiences and have come together in one supportive community to enhance the lives of everyone that finds us. We give of ourselves when we are able and we receive from the others when we have the need. It is a safe place that so many people need in their lives.

I love this site because of all the fabulous people on here who inspire me. There are a lot of you whose lives suck waaay more than mine do and yet they still get up and kick *****. It's not always pretty, but it's real.
Heck, if ya'll can do that, I think I can probably get by too.

I love having somewhere to go 24/7 with someone there to listen. I love having people who understand. It's like support group all the time. You can be completely open and honest; you don't have to hide a part of yourself.
