So this morning I was woken up to the sound of my 9 year old brother screaming his head off like he was about to die.. Automatically I thought he was either hurt really bad, or someone had broken into our apartment and he was going to be killed. So I ran out of my room and he was there in the hallway, our roommate was there too all freaked out, and all that happened was one of our cats had felt like being a jerk to the new one (who had somehow escaped my room) and they were fighting. Never seeing animals fighting before, or any kind of fighting unless on a movie or game, my brother got scared and freaked.

It was the most scariest moment of my life and I'm sooo glad neither of the worst case scenarios that had run through my mind happened!

(P.S both cats are fine as well. I'm sure it wasn't a serious fight.)

Ohhhh that would be scary to wake up to a scream like that. Good to know your brother wasn't hurt or in danger. Cat fights can get really fiesty and there so fast. Tell your brother for next time, not to scream as if it was life or death.

Glad to hear everyone is ok. Not the best way to wake-up in such a panic, understandably so though. I remember getting talked to about screaming like that once when it wasn't life or death, to understand the importance and to save it for those times. I'm sure it scared him though. Next time he could just come get you or someone instead of screaming, which actually might add to the tension of the fight otherwise.

Yeah, I told my Dad about it and he explained it to him. He was quite embarrassed about it afterward when he realized what was going on but we let him have that time cause he didn't know.

i used to play a trick on adults when i was a kid. Id get a bottle of ribena and pour it on the ground, then id throw my bike/scooter up in the air and lay face down in the pool of ribena and wait for their reaction. epic lulz

He might not have been completely awake, as well. cats can make a terrible noise when they go at it, like babies doing the massacre thing If you stagger out of your room not all there and run into them, I'd bet it'd send you into thriller mode! Poor little guy! Glad all is well. HUGGGGSS!

I remember when I was some four or so years old a cat in heat was stalking around the house making an unearthly noise and I remember thinking it was some kind of ferocious beast.
They really can make a horrible noise. I can imagine your brother got freaked out.
