Is 28 degrees outside ... and I took puppy out for a quick pee... The neighbors dog was their deck barking to get in.. SO I take puppy up front, he pees, I knock on the neighbors door and nobody answers. No cars are in the driveway.. SO I ask AJ to go over and knock on the door. NO answer so he opens the door on the deck for the dog to go inside...

They never leave their dog outside... ANd maybe I worry too much. just not like them to let the dog outside and besides it is way too cold for the dog....The dog is a cocker spaniel and I don't think they tolerate the extreme cold like a shepherd or larger dog.............

Two days ago a teen was shot and killed in the field a few houses down .. They say it might be drug related........ SOOOOOOO was it wrong for me to let their dog inside their house?? I think we did a good thing?????? I hope we did a good thing!

i can't read what i've typed cuz I can't find my glasses... I hope there are not too many typos ...

I think you did a really good thing for the doggie, letting him inside on such a cold night! Hopefully you will see the neighbors come home later and then you can check with them that everything is ok.

Agrees with everyone else.
I have done same thing a time or two with neigbor animals, dogs and cats. No reason an animal should be left outside in the extreme weather

thank you sundog, Gus, lonegael and Dark Dreams. It is not like them to leave their dog outdoors, especially in extreme hot or extreme cold weather. If it wasn't so cold, being 28 degrees, and feeling like 19 degrees, I would not have thought anything about it... JUst wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too cold for pets to be outside too long............ They didn't answer the door when we knocked and I could not rest thinking that poor barking dog being left outside in the cold.........

The are home now because cars are in the driveway. I will prob see them tomorrow and let them know we let the dog in.. Hope they don't get mad.. And I guess even if they do, that is ok, because I feel better that the dog was inside and not freezing outside........
