Why? What does accomplish? Didn't we learn anything from Jurassic Park? Maybe there's a good reason why they're all dead.

yeah and if the theory that they died off due to climate warming then they're in for a big surprise if one lives cause it may be happening now!! the polar bears need all the snow an' ice they can muster as it is.
personally i feel having our pc pachy is all we need.
why don't they try to research all the uncured diseases in the world than going off on a wild goose chase????? um pachyderm case, that is.

Oddly enough, many years ago a frozen mamoth was found in siberia, almost intact, as I understand it he was eaten.

I imagine the meat was a bit tough though

Google:

"For 42,000 years, Lyuba, a baby woolly mammoth, was preserved almost perfectly intact, right down to her baby fat, in frigid Siberian river muck."
