So I was supposed to be paid on Friday. After being unemployed for 6 months I was really looking forward to having cash coming in for a change. But when I checked my bank balance on Sat. there was no deposit. I called HR and my manager as soon as I got to work today and it turns out payroll had entered my banking information incorrectly when they set me up as a new employee. And they won't cut me a cheque until they get a deposit rejection notice from the bank. Having done payroll at my last job, I know deposit rejection notices can take several days so I'm stuck waiting to be paid. It's a good thing I still have some savings left from my severence package.

You'd think, since they see they messed it up that they'd cut you one by hand and argue with the bank, later (in case the bank tries to just "keep" it :-)

Yes, other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how are you enjoying the play?
