I've had broadband from AOHell for years, so when they phoned up recently and wanted me to take a resign for 24 months for the sake of £25 I told them where to go. Surprise, surprise, a few days later I get an email saying they've been trying to email me for months but the messages weren't getting through. They just have to increase my line rental. Absolutely can't avoid it.
I've been coming to the computer on and off all day, looking at BT, thinking that perhaps we should get tv, phone and broadband together. And after a full day at it, endless visits to their website and two live chat advisors later, I'm no nearer having any idea how much they'd want to charge. Is it just me, or are these things being made ridiculously difficult and ambiguous on purpose? If they are ambiguous on purpose, it's well annoying because it makes me feel like I'm having a worse day cognitive-wise than I really am. I said to this one advisor that they should put on the website how much each element is, and give you a nice full total, not a total plus this that and the other. She said: "Well, we can't put all the fine print in there..." I never knew line rental was fine print. Learn something every day.... ![]() |

I have never been with AOL so I don't know what they are like, I am with BT myself and I have had no problems at all with them, I think it depends what package you want, I have the phone and internet and get free calls all day and pay about £40 a month. Hope this helps

Thanks, Buttercup.
![]() I've had three different prices so far for the same thing, from an advisor and two different pages on their website. I'll have to just carry on paying the increased line rental. I so don't have the mental energy for it. :/ |
