Just got home, saw my new GP. am happy to say that was my second visit, and HE ACTUALLY GETS ME. He ACTUALLY listened. And he has come up with a pain management plan that considers my issues, and my addiction issues too. I am SO HAPPY right now. He told me he has an open door policy and will see me anytime I feel like I might be close to slipping with my painkillers, and we will come up with SOMETHING to manage it.

It simply has not been possible for me to come off painkillers, because I quite honestly have about ten different chronic pain issues. We have tried and kept failing, and then I WOULD slip, because I was in pain - he UNDERSTOOD that. So for now, two weeks at a time RX, and he will check in on me every two weeks to make sure I haven't slipped. If i slip or feel close to slipping, we will drop it to 2 day RX pickup, or even daily if need be.

On top of that, I got some writing work! I have enough for about a hundred and fifty dollers worth of work the next two weeks. WONDERFUL.

On top of that Ive lost more weight! I am down to 215!

Unfortunately. I have kidney stones we think, and a bladder infection, but I am not feeling miserable and my migraine that lasted four days is GONE.

And its beautiful outside!!! SPRING is here!! YAY.

LOVE to you all.
Thanks for this!

Hey there MandiePoo......great news. Sounds like you have a GP that really cares (finally). Trust in God & he provides for our needs.

Yea for spring.....the signs of rebirth are sprouting up.....for your life also....new life is beginning after a long winter. Interesting how our lives are reflected in this pattern also.

Prayers for your continued improvement & support

Brilliant Mandie, all of this is so positive, and such great news! You must be thrilled with the new Dr....it's SO important to have someone whom you "click" with; and congrats on the weight loss....you go girl! I too have (get this!) GALLSTONES lolol! But they are not bothering me right now, so that's beside the point. I am so glad that everything today is more on track for you....life can be good, and you deserve all the best.
