Dexter. He has no cares, no conscience and no real desire (except to kill). His mind is orderly, tidy, clean, precise, clinical and logical. No one victimises him, and his murderous exploits are sensual, remorseless and guilt-free exercises that clear the world of degenerates by way of balancing the Dark Passenger with the Harry Code.

Something inside the Dexter character is dead. Being him would be a relief akin to going on a permanent holiday.

Kudos to Jeff Lindsay for the creation of the character, and the horrifically amusing transformation of Sergeant Doakes into Robocop (in the novels).
