Hello,

Just wondering does anyone know if there is a universal color chart for music???
I don't want to make one if there is one out there... I wish to paint music.....
that others may understand.

Thanks to everyone that read this. Oh, and if you don't know it, what colors would you name like C-yellow the C scale?

Hi Crew, here is something I found when I clicked on the link provided by TB.

It is about "synesthesia" but I don't think that is what you are seeking????

http://home.comcast.net/~sean.day/art-history.htm

When you have asked me about painting "my pain" or what do I see when I'm in pain, I haven't really replied. So here goes.

I guess my brain doesn't work that way. But it is really interesting to me to think that you can "see" feelings or "smell" colors, or paint that way. I'm a 'basic' sort of painter. I have to have it down as a drawing then paint it. I'm working at getting out of that mode, but that's me, just plain jane - but I feel very creative in so many ways.

Right now it is with fabric.

See you around PC!
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
