The camera I have is so cheap and poor (0.3 mp people!!) that it doesn't do much for my enthusiasm and just takes the worst pictures.. I was thinking about asking for a new one, and my Dad agreed as long as it wasn't too expensive. I go looking around, knowing that a waterproof camera would be ideal (we have a lot of swimming pools around here and my grandmother has a cottage by a beautiful lake) for summer. But everything I find is almost 300 dollars!
It's useless to rant as that wont bring down prices  but it would be nice to get something of nice quality without risking eviction!

I just ran a search online...and found really nice ones 12 mp water resistant for 120 or so... where are you looking?

Yeah Ebay could be a good place for you. . . .
I Wanted to buy myself a new phone with all the latest features since i lost my last phone and the current one my dad bought for me, the one i'm using is horrible. trust me it is horrible. camera quality sucks..... Low memory, model itself looks horrible. . . . But im stuck with it. . . . Since my dad won't buy me a new one.

I would love to buy something off ebay or amazon or whatever (everything seems a billion times cheaper!) though I dont know if my dad would be up for that xD

Even my dad objects on many things i wanna buy. . . . I'm sure even he would say no buying things online. . . . . . And i go so mad. . . . But do i have an option. . . . . . . No. . . . So there's nothing i can do. . . . |

I don't want to advertise for another site BUT I ran a search on amazon "camera waterproof digital" and I got some under 150 right away. I'm not sure if they're what you're looking for but maybe trying some other sites than you started with would help? I'll try to find the info for my camera it's not waterproof but I don't think it was that expensive - I got it as a gift but it's pretty simple but great pictures!

thanks! my dad is sure that once you buy something online they have your bank info and they can abuse it and all that, so he is completely against online buying ]: oh well.

Ok ...you can do your searching online, at stores you have in your area... and then you know what store to send him to for the one you want!

It includes the CD to download the program to use it, and even has earplugs. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know!

Companies have to give huge amounts to research guys to make the camera.
