What does the idea of love mean to you? Is it something that comes easy to you or something you have trouble with?

Hi forgetmenot!

The "idea" of love...hmmm-----I don't have an "Idea" of Love.

I just love.

Given a life of abuse on many planes; then the help I've had through faith, and therapy, and being a mother, a grandmother-----Having False expectations for most of my life of the people I've loved most,,,,heartbreak when I learned the truth.....

I no longer have expectations of any kind of those I love---------------

I learned from my pets, and from wee babies to love without conditions, to love from afar, to love completely, and without reservation.

I don't have to pick the rose to love its' natural beauty...

My understanding of love does not have room for issues of "trust", "like", etc.
My understanding of love does not mean that I give myself to anyone, nor does it mean that I have to "Like" what I love.

I can love without these presumptions.--how freeing is that? I like that!!

I just love.

Great thread for thought!!!((forgetmenot))--welcome to P.C.-----I send you hugs (okay?)---theo
