I wasn't going to watch, but then I got sucked into it, and I've been up watching the live coverage since 3 AM EST. I loved the dress. I thought the ceremony was really lovely, and William and Kate look totally happy. I'm just waiting for the balcony appearance and then I'm off to rehab for the morning.

Me! It was beautiful, I hope they do kiss on the balcony only a few minutes left.

The best to both of them.

I tuned into Al Jazeera in hopes to get info on the Hamas-Fatah deal, Syria and Misurata situation... and ouch, there were the Royals. Turned it off quick.

Some people don't watch news as they are too depressing.

I don't watch Royal Weddings... as they are too annoying.

Kate dress is kinda ugly, though.

I've always liked Prince William and seems like a genuinely nice person - I see alot of his mom in him. I was pleasantly surprised at the understated elegance of her dress. Being a Princess she could get away with much more flash but I like the way she chose a slightly subdued dress - she's so pretty. They look very happy and I'm thrilled for them. Unfortunate his mother wasn't there.

I watched bits and pieces of it when I wasn't sleeping. I thought her gown was just stunning! I hope they live happily ever after. Lady Di would be very proud!

It was perfect...anyone with a romantic bone in their body has to think this is all like a fairy tale! What a lovely, perfect wedding (except for Camilla having to be there--blecch!).

I watched it, too, with my 13- and 12-year-old daughters. It was so romantic and classy, I thought.

It also was a very nice change from all the icky stories of late about, for example, Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan. (I don't click on those headlines anymore.)

William and Catherine seem so classy, and like genuinely nice people. I'm sure Diana would be so proud and happy.

Sanada, that is very cool that your dad used to guard the Queen!

We probably have more Canadians tuning in the one time this month to watch the royal wedding...never mind the fact we have elections coming up.

I originally was not going to tune into it either, but decided to turn it on while I was eating breakfast before going to school.

With the 24-hr. news cycle I was sure there would be plenty of rewinds of the day's event. I was shocked I had to wait to evening time to see any though.

Yes, Kate's dress and bouquet were elegant and understated. William definitely looked like a prince and future king. It was all very romantic!

understated.
Understated is the word alright! A princess to be... and she wears that? Ok, yes it was very lovely... brocade and lace and all.. but, come on... anyone can go into Kleinfeld's and buy it off the rack imo. Boring.

She is a LOVELY person, did her own makeup and they are going to keep house on their own (until the children begin to come along??? ) .. I wish them well.

I didn't watch IRL and only caught some pieces of some of the reruns. I'm bored, sorry. I guess I'm too old for fairy tales to hope in...

I was surprised at how understated her gown and veil were....But on the other hand, I disliked Diana's dress back in 1981 and even now -- way to frou-frou-y for my taste.

I thought her dress was fantastic. And sleeves are actually VERY hard to find (I just went dress shopping myself, everything is strapless now!). I know she had to wear sleeves because of the church. I also think she was probably playing things safe, didn't want to upset the future grandmother-in-law.

I was a little disappointed by how reserved they had to be. She didn't seem to relax until they were in the carriage, and even then, they seemed like they had to hold back.

Did anyone else see that they're delaying their honeymoon cause he has to go back to work? Tehehe!

I also think that a wedding on TV is fine. It's a part of life, everything's a cycle. We shouldn't be bogged down with the bad with no relief of the good. I don't really understand the blatant negativity about it...

I'm not into the whole thing, really, but it happened to be on and I happened to be up and so I watched some of it. Fell asleep before the "big kiss" that ended up not being such a big kiss lol. I found the actual wedding pretty boring (sorry if that offends anyone) and it's just not my cup of tea. I watched it so I could say I was there, lol. Other than that wasn't a huge deal to me but I do wish them the best and hope they're happy together .
