It is the weirdest thing, ever since Tyger died I have been finding pennies. I will be walking along and there will be a penny on the ground. The other day I was getting into my box o pills and there was a penny in the bottom of that.

The other night I was dreaming about Tyger and felt a sensation of him right on my stomach where he would lay purring away. I actually felt the sensation of his purrs.

This makes me feel better about my decision to put him to sleep. I now know he is in a better place and is probably chasing the varmints around.

I am so sorry for your loss, but I am so glad you are at peace with your decision. I'm sure he is very happy where he is

My great grandmother used to call these the pennies from heaven, would say a prayer and thank a loved one for thinking of her and watching out for her when she found one. She would say sometimes they are still with us as long as they are in our hearts, as Tyger will be in yours. ((((((Jbug)))))))

So sorry about Tyger.....Our pets ae our children dressed in fur clothes. Have you ever read the poem "The Rainbow Bridge?" I know I have two senior cats I cherish. We are a family now that my own kids have long grown. Animal are special, and so are the people tht love them!

Hugs;
Dee

If you don't mind I have included the Rainbow Bridge here. If you look it up there is a site that puts this to music. Its beautiful!

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge...

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing:

they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
