How hot does it have to get before you have ice cream for dinner; run through the sprinkler; break into the fire hydrant; go to the drive-in or the air-conditioned late show; wear linen even if it wrinkles; and start thinking about the popsicles you had as a kid?
Thanks for this!

I'm in Texas and it has been over 100 for over three weeks now. At 10:00 at night it is still around 95. I'm melting.

Oh, now having ice cream for breakfast is just getting fancy! What a wonderful idea. When I get some ice cream I'll have it for breakfast -- and for dinner. YUM
Thanks for this!

I'm flying to Vancouver tomorrow for a week. Apparently it's only in the 70's out there. Can't wait. I've been melting all week.

We've had either 24 or 25 days of 100 degree or above temperatures, with more of the same not only forecast for next week but the weatherman says the extreme temperatures will hang around through September.

Summertime is always uncomfortable here but this has been and continues to be SOMETHING ELSE!

It is never too hot to have ice cream for dinner, lunch, or breakfast. At least not at my house. It is supposed to cool down next week to the lower 90s. I am glad that I don't pay the electric bill, it has got to be ungodly high. Just think in a few months we will be complaining about how cold it is.

100oF? Here in Australia it's like that every day in summer! Sometimes it's up to 45oc (about 112oC), and for days at a time. Though because of water restrictions (we are limited to the amount of water we can use for certain things), things like running under the hose and sprinkler are a big no-no. If someone broke open a fire hydrant here they'd be fined a LOT of money. Though the water restrictions were eased a bit recently because it's been raining more lately.
