So it's kind of sarcastically funny but not really, when I'm already feeling insignificant and miserable but something happens like one of the people who tricked me suddenly leaves a greeting on my facebook page or puts up a new picture just to broadcast their happiness and popularity, thus putting salt on the wound..or some random idiot humiliates me in public when I'm already feeling self-conscious and not as attractive as everybody else. It's kind of ironic how the universe knows how to do that a precisely the right moment, isn't it? Of course, specialists would say it's just a coincidence and the world isn't conspiring against and blah blah blah..but it doesn't change the fact that at the end of day I'm more miserable than before. Does anyone else ever experience this unfair phenomenon?

This has happened to me a lot too. What has happened more is when life seems to be doing good for me and it seems to start trending up, then something stupid happens to put me back down to where I started. I sometimes wonder if something or someone is watching us and only allowing us to advance to a certain degree. Call it coincidence, but it feels like something controlled to me. Maybe I am just paranoid. Or maybe these things happen as a sign that I need to pay attention to those things and change them.

No good deed goes unpunished?

If you roll a snowball in snow, it gets larger and larger -- it picks up more snow.

that really doesn't makes sense to what I'm describing. I mean it's not like provoked someone so they'd humiliate me.
