Up here in the mountains it rains too often. Winter is still pricking it's fingers in at night and kissing the grass with frost instead of dew at dawn. I have yet to put away my winter coats. But today was sunny, bright, vibrant and warm. A rare miracle for this old town.
It's the perfect weather for bon fires and beers! Oh wait...

Mild, with temps in the 70's & cool nights--60's. #$%&*@ clouds move in during the afternoon though, which ruined the view of a partial solar eclipse Sunday, around 6:30 p.m. It would have been more fun if we had CLEAR skies, then suddenly getting eerie when the moon passes over the sun.
 With the stupid clouds, it was just like any overcast afternoon. Beautiful crescent shaped moon which stood out among the clouds though. Love these celestial events. Eclipses don't happen often enough where they can be seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
