I have been wanting to try Lindt Chilli Chocolate for a long time. I finally treated myself to some. It is delicious and I am not even a fan of dark chocolate. The burn from the chilli is so unusual with the sweet of the chocolate. I only have a small block and I am satisfied. Very impressed with my purchase!

It is not very hot at all. You do notice the chilli but it is a pleasant tingle more than an outright burn. It is so contradictory, very interesting indeed.

I love the chili chocolate! The old ones were better though, they actually had chili flakes in them.
Probably my third favorite after the ginger one and the 90% dark. ![]() |

Loved the ginger one. It was tasty. This other will be a treat. I don't get to have Lindt very often but it is on the way home tomorrow afternoon, looking forward to it. Justifying it as a reward if I can make it through this first round of classes. The proverbial carrot in front of the horse right now.

Have you tried the one with salt? That one is interesting. Doesn't really taste salty but very rich somehow.

We love Lindt chocolate and I've never seen this chili one here but I'll look for it. Normally I can't tolerate chilis but I'm willing to try it. Its interesting when unlikely foods are combined together. Dark chocolate also has more antioxidants in them.

I've had the one with sea salt. It tastes like.... salty chocolate! Personally I find the salt component to be a bit pointless without the pretzel.
![]() Ever had the mint or raspberry filled squares? Ohh, those are good. Last edited by Umbral_Seraph; Aug 31, 2011 at 03:01 AM. Reason: Can't spell today |

I've had the white chocolate lindt (which I know is not actually chocolate). It is filled with a mousse. Delicious. My son asked for a slab for his Christmas stocking and then hid it from the whole family and ate is slowly!

Hey, has anyone seen the movie "Chocolate" with Johnny Depp?
I've been wondering for years how it would be to eat chicken (without spices or salt or anything) with melted chocolate. Has anyone tried? I can't bring myself to do it. |

I liked that movie. I once had choc raspberry sauce and then choc merlot sauce but on beef that were delicious. I don't think there is enough flavor with chicken to carry it off; it would be too overwhelming for it and not enhancing it; then again, you WOULD really taste the choc, however you might as just eat the chocolate, why waste it.
![]() I went to a Lindt store and it was closed due to the hurricane unfortunately. The cute thing was on the sign they had on the door said, "Not to worry, no chocolate has been harmed." Was laughing. It did say they should have their doors open Monday. The wait continues....

I saw that particular Kitchen Nightmares.
Pity you can't get the chocolate for the weekend.
