I think there was also a book before that movie that I read as well..can't remember the name though.......For a long time after the book my significant other and I did exactly that on a few occassions. We paid restaurant bills, we paid tolls....it was a great feeling. I have done it a couple times since then but financially I am in a different spot then I was before so will have to think of other ideas. Its the best concept ever!!!!!!

So cool! ((((((avoice))))! It be Christmas Eve (early in the morning!)

My take on movie? How beautiful an idea...how precious. It definitely inspired me!
Now, I try to "Pay it Forward" every chance I get; it involves expecting nothing in return, and surmising what others need the most.

I adore this idea...have incorporated it into my way of life...great thread, as always.........(((((((((((avoicenow))))))))))) Merry!

Give...no one should know what you give...no one should know of your "good deeds"

This is what "Pay it Forward" means to me..just wish more did it xoxo theo

I loved the movie, it reminded me of myself and made me feel good about it. (i've been a pay it forward type since childhood) it also made me think how beautiful this world could be, if everybody practiced this simple act of kindness

I never saw the movie, but read the book when it first came out.
