I have been thinking on this silly idea of "IF I won the Lottery" what would I do- no way am I going to win the Lottery (I don't play it LOL) but If I fell into a large amount of money some how what would I do....

I ask that you ask your self the same question just for fun..

I will start out-

IF I won the lottery:
I would continue to keep working at my job- however when ever my supervisor got all stupid (As She Does) with trivial things that don't really have to do with our job, or that is not quiet exactly "wrong" just not her way-- I could just turn to her and say "Ya know I don't really have to be here" and just walk out LOL That right now makes me laugh so much..
I would stay in an apartment as well, try to let money grow in some form (I Hate the stock market but If I could find a 'trusted' person to help me with the game maybe)
I would like to give some money to the nieces and nephews for them to start a college fund or at least a "on your own fund". The parents, I am not sure maybe some money but with some parents not that much.
I would pay off my bills as well-
I would like to give some money to charity as well- some to the charities that actually help people not just hinder society.
I would most definitely go back to school to find something I was more interested in learning for a career.
Just my thoughts right now....

what are y'all thoughts?

PS Sorry if this was a thread prior I tried to do search and only saw some posts that had such words of If I won the lottery

I'd get my family out of debt, continue learning and buy myself a nice house.
Thanks for this!

I would donate to the indigent fund at my local animal hospital so people with low funds could still have their animals' care funded. How much have I won from the lottery? A really large amount? If so, then I would set up a program to help children who have aged out of foster care to get set up on their own and to have happy, successful lives.
Thanks for this!

Beauflow, Love your notion with the job. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to do that?!

I would love having the financial freedom, so despite the odds and know full well how terrible they are, I do play the lottery. Even if won, I will continue with school and going into working in the field going into; so boring I know but I am so interested in it. Depending on how much won, the priorities are pretty boring as well: would be to pay off debt, have a retirement fund, college fund for my niece and nephew, pay off my brother's house, to help a friend out, who's a widow with 4 children, and charities. If there is even more than this, unimaginable with some fun things in mind but so concerned about the rest right now, that will keep playing to hopefully find out what else could do besides playing it safe.

If i won the lottery - I would hire the best lawyer and immediately get a divorce. I would buy a smaller nice house, pay it off and move. Put away a good chunk for my kids education. Give a fair amount to my husband who would be my ex..... to keep him out of my hair. It would give me freedom.

If I won the lottery... First thing I'd do is go shopping.. I'd shop everywhere.. Online... On TV... I'd have a ball... Next would be to go to a spa and get pampered. Get the works........Then I'd be feeling good again and I'd go shopping some more.... I'd have so much fun that I couldn't stand it . When that happens I might get serious. ANd should I get serious, I'd find ways "to do good" with the rest of the money...

Now I am thinking of millions when I think of winning the lottery.. Like mega millions.. So there would more than enough to self endulge and then have mega extras to do something worthy as in "helping others"....

1st. smile..big big smile & then sigh of relief.
2. pay off my bills.
3. buy a new "big ugly" aka car
4. look for my own house to buy & move out of the apartment from hell.
(small, 2 bedroom, fireplace, 4 acres totally fenced, near friends)
5. buy a camper

ok...

then donate a chunk of moola to the basset rescue.
donate more to all my friends who have been so generous to me
donate to other charities

relax...enjoy the security of knowing that life just got easier.

oh & wait for my evil brother & sister to show up at my doorstep...after 20 years of being out of my life & screwing me over while i took care of our mentally ill mother & made the hard decisions.....just because they are on the doorstep doesn't mean they are going to get anything...see ya!

not that i have given this any thought or anything....(like every other night...)

like the song says.."if i had a million dollars...."
Thanks for this!

If I won the lottery, I would pay off my debts, especially to my mom, the house, etc. Then I would invest the money, and live off the interest. I would probably still try to find a job, b/c being in the house every day is driving me crazy. I would also get the lap band procedure, so I could loose all this weight I've gained from all these medications. I would also get some new birkenstocks for me and my husband.
Thanks for this!

I would buy all the beanie babies in the world. Then I would sleep outside and give them my house. But it would be worth it, to wake up every cold morning and see their plush faces pressed (squished) up against the windows smiling at me.

I don't know what I would do, I've never had money, so in all honesty I might give most of it away.
Thanks for this!

I would tell my boss that he isn't God. I don't think he realizes that. I would also invest some to keep it growing. I would then move to Hawaii and live happily ever after.

I would travel and study. If I want to learn about peruvian archeology? I would go to Peru and study archeology. If I wanted to learn about Italian cuisine? I would go to Italy and take some cooking and cultural courses.
Thanks for this!
