Welcome to the first day of your life

Just open up your eyes as I lay you down tonight
Safe on the other side
No more tears to cry

This is roof top on the 17th story looking at Lake Ontario, where the boats are is Confederation basin.

Other pics of the lake, one on a very windy day you would think it was ocean with the waves but it is a lake.

I discovered a group of pigeons in town that sit on you and like the camera, if this is anything to go by.

Yes it is an emu! They are EVERYWHERE at the national park we stayed at. And a useless fact for you, the males are the ones who look after the babies, they basically knock up all the females they can and then take full responsibility.
Thanks for this!

It is a beautiful world we live in. I think it is easy to forget and even easier to forget to notice. This thread is causing people to not only notice but to share what they notice with others.

Thanks for starting the thread. It is a good reminder of the healing power of natural beauty and how it inspires human creativity in the process. May it inspire us all to be good stewards of the beauty surrounding and gifting us each and every day.

We get some really dramatic sunsets out here. I wish I had prettier pictures to show, though (I took this one in the car recently).

Hi All

I am another Aussie
I live on the Tweed Coast, which is a sub-tropical area located around the base of an ancient extinct volcano and reaches out into the Pacific Ocean....From Byron Bay, the most eastern point of Australia to Tweed Heads which sits on the Border of NSW and QLD....
