This is roof top on the 17th story looking at Lake Ontario, where the boats are is Confederation basin.

Yes it is an emu! They are EVERYWHERE at the national park we stayed at. And a useless fact for you, the males are the ones who look after the babies, they basically knock up all the females they can and then take full responsibility.

It is a beautiful world we live in. I think it is easy to forget and even easier to forget to notice. This thread is causing people to not only notice but to share what they notice with others.
Thanks for starting the thread. It is a good reminder of the healing power of natural beauty and how it inspires human creativity in the process. May it inspire us all to be good stewards of the beauty surrounding and gifting us each and every day. |
