Oh what a good time! We got there and secured a nice spot on the field which rapidly got very crowded. Hubby went off to get drinks and our picnic hamper. We enjoyed drinks and our delightful picnic hamper whilst waiting for the concert to start. The weather was perfect. It threatened to rain but didn't.
Josh did not fail to deliver. His singing was top notch beautiful but what really impressed me is that is quite the entertainer! He had the crowd of about 15000 in stitches with his jokes. He is a natural comedian. I had a wonderful, wonderful time and coped well with the crowds which was a little worry of mine. Hubby (who didn't really want to go) said that he enjoyed it too.
Hubby even surprised me with a T-shirt (which made me cry).
I felt very very happy last night!

(PS. I won't be able to thank posts to this thread as I will only be on from my mobile for the next few days)

Thanks for this!

Was a huge fan of Josh Groban "back in the day".

I remember him performing at George Best's funeral - he did an absolutely outstanding performance of "You Raise Me Up".

Glad you enjoyed it...even if I am a little bit jealous.

I am jealous! I have to admit I'd never heard of him until folks started posting his songs on the "At Jesus' Feet" forum (). But I am definitely a fan of his, too, now--and I'm so glad you and hubby could go, and that you had a special time together!

I've heard he is SO funny I'm glad you got to go - did you know that this concert was the last stop in his tour? I looked up ticket prices and didn't realize they were so reasonable. Makes me wish I'd checked into it when he was in Chicago or Detroit........my parents are also huge fans, my dad said we'll the next time he's in Michigan lol.

So glad you had a good time!! Did you take pictures?

So happy you had a wonderful time in every way ((Sabrina)). I saw him on TV and then he was being interviewed - I thought he was funny and very down to earth.

I didn't take pictures as cameras weren't allowed and I was too far away to take a picture with my blackberry, but I'll remember this forever.
Yes, I also knew that this was the last stop of Josh's tour. How cool was that!!
