I remember when school busses and public transit bussses simply had one wide seat to fit however many people could fit on them. They did not individualize seats. So why are they doing that now? Just go back to the former seat patterns of just one wide seating area.
Thanks for this!

**sigh** i'm one of those born booty deprived! there's not much back there asset-wise!! still, my 36" waist will fill up a mass transit seat fully. i know standard seat sizes are a problem for airlines too. sometimes, though, there are also other considerations - like, elbow room. tall people have longer arms and need elbow room, especially when seating space is tight. still, if your asset does not fit then you musn't sit . . .
Thanks for this!

If I'm understanding you right I think the problem with that is then they can't have seatbelts if there's no exact amount of people to sit on the seat. But no-one wears seat belts on buses anyway lol.

I don't know how wide I am, but I can fit my butt in a baby seat, so I don't think I'd have a problem.
Thanks for this!
