I always get my period on a Tuesday. Tomorrow is Tuesday, and it's also Valentine's Day. This might explain why I have been so rude to everybody on PC. Nahhhh I'm never *****y on my period, I just hate reading about everyone else's "crises". I am an avid Yahoo! Answers user for many many years, but I realized that Y!A are for people who have problems, most of which are normal. People here are on PC in the midst of a crisis when they post here. Has no one noticed that, or was that included in the terms of agreement and I just didn't realize that people here have more than just day-to-day problems? I thought that coming here I could meet people like me, but I can't relate to anyone here because I'm at an almost full recovery of bipolar disorder and I've never been happier in my life. I'm never depressed anymore, I dont cut, I'm outgoing and making friends and doing things with my friends, I'm out getting a job and volunteering at animal shelters and food kitchens for people with cancer. I started a group called the Inner Goddess Challenge for girls to build their self-esteem. I have a strong support system and I've got a lot going on for me. I just can't see why other people have to be so absorbed in their problems instead of embracing the things they should be grateful for.

For the first time in my life I have a Valentine, but I decided to bring a mutual friend along to make it less awkward. My Valentine misread what I texted him and thought I wanted to be his girlfriend, then tried making out with me the second he saw me. So now I'm a little nervous to be with him alone. =/ We're going to Chuck E Cheeses and we're all super excited to go. I got $20 for games and $10 for pizza I'm super excited. Bahahahaha.

Hmmmm sooooooooooooo what should I say to make peoples reply?

Anyone else getting their period on V-Day?
Ever had a Valentine?
Best/worst date you've ever had?

I'm still recovering and bleeding from a surgery down there, if that counts.

Hoo boy! "People here are on PC in the midst of a crisis when they post here. Has no one noticed that"?

You are kidding, right, Dr Skipper? The whole idea of "making" anybody on any of these forums do anything--like reply!--could be a topic on several of the forums..

PM me anytime.

Not kidding, I see less positive stories and more sob stories, and people think that every little bump in the road is a crisis.

and I only asked what should I say because I ranted, and no one relpies to rants.

gee...i rarely if ever post while in a crisis mode...& never sob...sorry to disappoint....normally i figure out my crisis stuff on my own...

actually there are a pretty decent amount of posts here which are neither of the sobbing nor crisis variety..but hey why ruin your rant.

& my valentines day was nice & quiet...a little tv, a little cleaning, a little chatting on the phone...
Thanks for this!

then you should join my inner goddess challenge, where we talk about what's going good in our life and how we truly want to overcome our challenges and embrace our inner goddess.

I've noticed that my period is getting heavier as my dosage is getting lighter. Very interesting.

My bf and I don't celebrate V.day, and I havn't had a period since 2005! TG for birth control. It was a normal day.

Btw, Idk how you missed this, but PsychCentral, is a support site for folks who are struggling and their family/friends. If you're in doubt, just check the names of the forums. So to me it would be weird if I found a thread titled 'I love the voices who want me to kill my mom'... It'd be strange if there were no posts about people struggling, cos this is a support site...

Stick to the games forum, it's less dark there
Thanks for this!

I'm on BC too, but I'm on the pill so I get my period. I'm gonna go off my BC just to see what happens, if I'm still regular or not.

I know it's a support site. I've had an account here since 09. I try to stick to the games unless I have a question. I try to avoid posting on other people's posts cuz I learned the hard way that it's best to just avoid posting on other people's posts if I don't understand their problem. I hardly understand my own problems, let alone other peoples.

that's great that you're feeling really awesome! however, I think that you're being very judgmental regarding others and you're complaining about them whining about their "crisis." sorry, a lot of us ARE in crisis and that's why we're here; this is what this place is all about. if I wanted all sunshine and happiness, I'd be on facebook but this is the REAL place to go with our real problems as big or as small as they may be. please be kind.
