I was shocked to read this. I had no idea. She is one of my favourite artists and I grew up singing her songs. How very sad!

I was so shocked to hear of her death. She was one of my favourite singers, especially in the 80's when I was a teenager. She was a real icon...

I liked her songs from back in the 80's. What bothers me is that it has to take a tragedy for someone to pop up in the news again. Someone could go into hiding for a long time, then as soon as they get into some sort of trouble, with the law, or whatever, oh, there they are again. The radio station I listen to here in Raleigh, NC never ever played her songs until today. You never even heard from Bobby Brown in years, at least I haven't, now he comes out of the woodwork I suppose. Like all the rest of them do. It just seems disrespectful to me for some reason. Maybe it was all that pressure from over the years that finally caught up with her.

 The autopsy reports said there were traces of Redline in her veins...Now we know how dangerous caffeine addiction is. Nobody wants to end up like that =/ |

It's crazy when they first aired her death is was so unreal to me. I didn't think I was saddened by her death but truly I was, their were little tears but as the week progressed I began to play all of her greatest hits whenever I was home or youtubing a video. I'm 33yrs old and I grew up listening to her ALL THE TIME, such a tragedy. She was definitely one of a kind that's for certain. My workload has gotten so heavy that I never purchased her last album, but I listened to her performances from 2009 up until now and I realized whitney was on her way back. Everyone has their own personal struggles in life, she was only human. I watched the funeral, I thought the family did a great job on keeping it private yet availible for her my dearest fans to see. She will be missed by many !
