I built a backyard toilet/urinal which swept urine into the adjacent cobblestone lane and down the public drains. I installed floodlights so I could use it at night.

Then I was bragging about it to a plumber and he told me it was 'highly illegal'.

Cool thread!

1. Why did you choose your username?
I didn't want to use my own name but another common name, like John. However, John was already taken (big surprise there) and John25 is kinda related to an email address of mine and this name was still available here...but it does not implicate anything about my age

2. What is your religion (if any)?
Christian, non-denominational church

3. What country do you originate from?
The Netherlands

4. What MH issue did you come here for? (for who)
Depression and Social Anxiety. (For myself)

1. Why did you choose your username? I was trying to find a username for a dating site once that didn't have anything to do with any email address or any username from anywhere else. I saw that the name "Keena" meant "brave" so now I use it for a lot of things.
2. What is your religion (if any)? I'm a non-practicing Catholic
3. What country do you originate from? United States
4. What MH issue did you come here for? (for whom?) Depression, GAD (which is only an intermittent issue these days), and I came for myself.

1. Why did you choose your username?

Aside from personal reasons I'd rather not share with strangers, I was studying Japanese at the time, so Akuma sorta worked well. (that was years ago, and now use variants of der Teufel Mann, as I've been studying German for a few years)

2. What is your religion (if any)?

I was baptised as a baby, and was once very religious, until about 16, when I had that "moment" when a light switch comes on in your head. I miss the faith, sometimes, and I miss "God", but mainly, I just miss the sense of purpose and hope it gave me; whether it was real or not was irrelevant, as I believe what's more important is the outcome: people being good, moralistic, treating others right, etc.

3. What country do you originate from?

I'm Scottish; was born in Scotland in 1986.

4. What MH issue did you come here for? (for who)

I really have no desire to get into this, sorry.

1. I chose my user name because it best fits me as in the sense my mind is in pieces and at the moment quite scatter about and around in my head. However another way I hope to view this is that my mind may be in piece but at least I can now choose what pieces I put back together and what piece of my puzzle are no longer of use or fit with who I am as a person. This is a working progress and a lot of trial and error and refits so to speak.

2. I am not religious. However I do like to believe there may be some link between science and religion. Personally I think they do back one another up instead of contradict one another, I mean this in a general term. This is just my personal thoughts and I hope I haven't offended anyone by this.

3. UK - England - somewhere within the county of Sussex.

4. Myself, I don't have a diagnosed MH issue however I do get anxiety, low moods, lack self esteem and not in slightest bit confidence of myself. Like most I have just got to a point where my mind and thoughts are getting in the way of my life and I need to work on this to allow myself to get back to a point where I hopefully won’t notice my thoughts and sensations in my body and be moving forward with my life.

1. Why did you choose your username?
Was stuck for a unique sounding username. Wanted 'Psychiatric', was taken, so was 'Enigma', so hey presto I put them together.

2. What is your religion (if any)?
Agnostic, pretty much.

3. What country do you originate from?
United Kingdom

4. What MH issue did you come here for? (for who)
I've been a member of many forums, both MH-related and not. A friend of mine was looking for a new forum to join and I remembered the name of here off another friend who had used this forum back in 2008/2009, so we joined together, though I suffer from depression and anxiety myself.

Username? Honestly it's what I pulled out of the air. I use another username on most of the other websites I post on but wanted to keep my anonymity here. I guess I'm hoping I'll be strong while I do the latest round of shrink-shopping and med-trying in the hopes of kicking the depression for a while.

Religion? Erm... Agnostic? I pull aspects of my personal philosophy from Buddhism but wouldn't subscribe to any church or temple willingly.

Country? Canada... the Province of Alberta... land of oil and intolerance...

Issues? Depression, GAD, PTSD, Bereavement, Internet Addiction, Sleep problems... just been put on Remeron by my doctor... now hoping to find a good psychiatrist and/or therapist to do some serious healing.
