very real issue, i used vasoline for 3 days, neosporine, vicks, hydrogen peroxide, ice cube, aloe vera gel, even chap stick! it either causes it to need blowing and makes it worse or simply does nothing. why does all the bad stuff happen to me?!

I would start off by putting some neo sporin (antibiotic ointment) on it. That ointment heals everything very quickly including the corners of my white American Eskimo doggies eyes that get bad such bad sores & scabs. After that I would probably put some cream....like the aloe vera, or a Vitamin E cream, I also found a cream that has Paraffin or one that has glycerin in it....both very protective & I always put that cream on it before going outside in the winter or in windy weather.

Oh, yes. I've experienced chapped nose. I think I've treated it with Vaseline and even hand lotion.

I do like puffs the best. some of the other brands, once your nose gets irritated, they feel like sandpaper. but not the lotion kind, esp if you wear glasses and forget and wipe your glasses with them, you'll be sorry! a friend of mine also once said the puffs "soft and strong" was like blowing your nose in a furnace filter

Puffs Plus are the softest tissues. When I have a cold those are the tissues I use. I also keep a light coat of Vaseline on my nose to help it stay protected.

It takes time for chapped anything to heal. Hope you feel better soon.
