I've been having a really lousy past 3 weeks, and I finally had a nice day today and I'm feeling happy, and I just wanted to share.

I had my harp lesson in the morning and I played well. I got to see my harp teacher's two dogs and I got lots of cuddles and affection and licks from them.

Then this afternoon I got my hair cut which always makes me feel better.

Then I went to my favourite wool shop to get help with the pattern of the deer antler mittens I'm knitting because I knew the pattern designer was working, and she was able to explain everything to me, so that it made sense so now I can continue working on the mitts. And I bought enough really nice lovely yarn and the patterns to make two different cowls.

Then I went out for a late lunch / early dinner and had a supper yummy grilled cheese that was made with swiss, provolone, portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers and onions. It was super yummy.

I've been hanging out on line for a while, and soon I'm going to start knitting something.

I have to work tomorrow, but I'm going to enjoy the rest of today.

How wonderful to see all the little things that you felt good about that went into making your day such a good day. How often to we overlook these all the little things because we feel that the little things are insignificant rather than truly enjoy them as you have today. What a wonderful example you are to us all today to be look at the little things & truly be thankful & enjoy them & allow them to make your day be good after so many bad weeks.......truly an inspiration to all of us.

So nice to hear you had a good day! Sometimes it seems like we are never going to get one. I read your posts and feel sometimes as if we are one in the same. The mittens you are making sound great and warm. I got hungry reading about your grilled cheese....with swiss yum and portabellos are the best! Here's wishing for many more!
