I was contacted out of the blue yesterday by a recruiter who'd seen my profile on LinkedIn. She's looking for an accountant with a background in educational publishing - that's me.

We e-mailed back and forth, and I sent her my resume. I now have an interview with her tomorrow afternoon. It's only really preliminary, but I'm feeling a teeny bit hopefull.

I'm also kind of amused as all of my interviews lately have been immediately after something psychiatric. On Tues. I have an appointment with my pdoc right before the interview. Talk about a weird juxtaposiiton.

Also talked to my recruiter about the job I had the interview for last Wed. Apparently they're still doing first round interviews, so I'm not out of the running yet, and will hopefully get a second interview sometime this week or next. And she hadn't heard anything back from the other two companies that they'd sent my resume to.

Also managed to apply to a couple of other jobs yesterday, so felt productive.

It's coming down to the wire in terms of needing to find work & my savings, so I've also applied to Starbucks.

Happy I have this new interview, but I'm overall feeling stressed.

I've just managed a negotiation which keeps me employed for a while longer--& that whipped me emotionally. It seems to me that everything about employment is just overwhelming these days.

Frankly - I could really use a break. My interview today was rescheduled from today to tomorrow (Wed.) which works fine for me, except it's now right after an appointment with my addictions Dr., and I tend to cry in those meetings, but I'll have to be careful, because I don't want to smudge my eyeliner.

Another positive. Recruiter #1 called me today to say that one of the other companies she'd submitted my resume to, wants to interview me. They wanted to interview me tomorrow, but there was no way I could squeeze it in, so she's trying to schedule something for Thurs. or Fri.

Still no word back on second interviews with the company I interviewed with last week.

Feeling massively stressed.
