Happy Easter to all my P-Central Friends.
I know it is supposed to be a celebration of rebirth but it kinda of saddens me to think someone had to be nailed to a post, for suggesting that perhaps maybe, just maybe, we should try being nice to each other. After having read about and continue to observe to this day the pain and strife that followed his passing, that maybe, just maybe, he was right afterall. This post is not meant to be a promotion of any religion (I am agnostic personally), but rather an observation and a lament that the human race because of pride, arrogance, and need to dominate everything around it, ignored such basic, yet profound wisdom. My best regards to you all here! May peace and contentment find each of you and those you love. Timgt5 |

What I've always found interesting was how much the date could change. For the most part, Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox...another fine example of a Christianized pagan holiday (like why Christmas is 12-25)
![]() ![]() ![]() It's still a pretty fun holiday though. A fun Mexican tradition we like involves smashing eggshells full of confetti on eachother's heads! Hopefully it won't rain tommorrow! ![]() |
