from day one in england i've had probs proving my identity. got turned down for a job once coz i couldn't prove i was a brit but also didn't have paperwork to say otherwise (i.e. foriegner with the right to work here). it's all been down to a stupid little known difference between scots law and english law and i've been the butt of many friendly jokes ... illegal immigrant in the u.k. lol. anyways, i've finally forked out the few hundred bucks needed to set that straight. (yeehaw, i'm legal, passport app done now )

but i'm still getting hacked off by the fact that my address doesn't officially exist. it doesn't show on sat-nav, A-Z road maps, or the majority of official databases. and despite being inner city and near lots of roads and landmarks that anyone who's been here for more than 5 mins should know ... still get drove mofo by delivery drivers, mailmen calling me up and having no clue. like who the hell can live in brum and never have heard of broad st, new st, hagley rd, the icc, the nia? and WHY has this place been here since the 70's and i still get told by official folks my address doesn't exist? THEN i get hit by a ****ing fine for not having a tv license when i damn well do!!!

sorry but this is driving me mofo lol.
