Today is a holiday in Canada, Queen Victoria's Birthday, and the residence I'm living in, put on a BBQ for all residents.
 It was really yummy, we had burgers, hot dogs, and chicken drumsticks, lots of veggies, and chips.And it was a nice sunny day, but not too hot, so we all sat around in a circle in the parking lot. It kind of made me feel better about living here. splitimage

We need more community spirit like that, more often. Perhaps we could initiate something like that with mgmt here.

Sounds wonderful! Glad you had a good time and the eats sounds yum yum. I would like something like that here too I think it would be really nice

Okay, Splitimage, can you send this great-sounding food down south? (How do you spell that "a" sound that Canadians make when they ask a question?) Seriously, that's great news! I'm glad something good is happening to you!

I really like BBQ, especially some of the spicier ones. Another thing I love on the grill; pineapple! Good thing Memorial Day is coming up!
