Seriously! I've seen some dumb birds but none of them have ever tried to this...
There was this dove walking around the back porch, and then it comes walking up to the back door. The back door is a sliding glass patio door, with a metal frame holding the glass in, and is very dirty. The dove tried hopping over the frame, wanting to get in I guess. Of course it bounced off the glass. Then it tried again a step over. And again. And again. It was there at the door pecking and scratching and tring to get over the frame for at least 5 minutes. The whole time I was standing right in front of it.

Seraph: That is similar to a small bird I saw trying to pitch on a tall but skinny blade of grass. It would pitch on one blade, and down it would drop. It flew back up, landed on a nother and down it would drop again. The bird attempted this at elast 6 times before it finally flew off.
Thanks for this!
