I find this a highly interesting topic and would love to converse with anyone about it. Check out this website: http://www.greatdreams.com/orbs/orbs_of_light.htm

I read the entire thing and it left some thoughts to ponder in my head.

Yes, but I have never seen one.

I believe spirits exist but not all of us are able to sense their presence. A spirit has an aura, the same aura people emanate. At least this is what I have felt. It could be different for others.

N.E.P.R.S also has some good orb images along with possible explanations of their causes from cameras to the supernatural.

I think they are interesting. My friend went with her then GF to GF's brother's and dad's graves. She took pictures. There were a lot of orbs in those pics, yet not in the pics before and after. Kind of spooky.

I have many pics from our summer house, and someone pointed out one of the pics has an orb. I once was in the kitchen there, closed the door, which felt really uncomfortable, the door hadn't even been there, we hooked it back because we needed it. I hear mumbling from outside and I assume it's my friend, so I shout to her to speak up but "she" continues mumbling. I open the door, it gets quiet and no one is there...

Broad daylight and I just scared myself...

I'd need to understand your thoughts before making any serious reply but I do believe the orbs exist because I can see them. But I obviously do not know what they are
Others have alluded to human spirits and existence after physical death. I'd love to believe that, if it's in a benign and peaceful way.

I don't really have set beliefs, I don't think I know as much as other people might on the subject of orbs. I am open minded to spirits existing. I scare myself sh!tless watching Ghost Hunters and shows like that. I had a lot of paranormal activity happen to me growing up though. It got to the point I was so scared I had to force all thoughts away from me. I developed a method of saying "I will not see them if I don't allow them to enter my mind"
I hope it doesn't sound wacky or anything, but I can always 'feel' them and if I open my mind up to them and their existence where I feel them around me then they will make their presence known even stronger.
I can't even watch horror films about it anymore. A Haunting in Connecticut was my last straw.
@JimRat, that is mega scary

I found that a really interesting webpage.

I have been on "ghost hunts" - over night vigils in old castles / museums. I am not sure what I believe, but they have been interesting experiences.

Have only had one night when something happened that I couldn't explain. A bright flash of light from a corner of a room where there was not electricity and several people saw it.

My mother and father once saw an orb come out of the TV - they both saw it bounce along the floor and both heard it hit the door at the other end of the room.

Maybe they are just random collections of energy, like static, I don't know - but still fascinating.

Yes, absolutely. I have seen them in photos and in real life.

I have to add that a lot of photos that seem to have orbs in them are actually the result of dust on the lens. Once you take the flash off a lot of these fakes will disappear. Not all orbs are fakes but a lot are.

Yes, and I have seen them. I don't know how you guys feel on the subject of ghosts and the paranormal, but I firmly and without question believe my old home was haunted. I saw things that I can't explain.

I can share the ghost stories if you would like (and of course if it wouldn't be a topic hijack ).

I've seen and felt them too. Some nice, some not so nice, some have communicated with me directly, 1 in particular (not nice 1) appeared to my older brother as well... Harley, you've caught my attention

Consider it told then. I decided to throw a trigger just in case.

My house was a two story brick house in a fairly average neighborhood. It wasn't the stereotype old creepy Victorian house, and as far as I know, it never had a "history" or anything like that.

However, there were a lot of odd things that went on in that house. Mom, though she never mentioned it until well after we moved, swears she could lie there at night and see small balls of light dart across the room on a frequent basis. That fascinated her more than it scared her. What got her was the attic.

The attic was divided into two small subsections, with an entrance through the ceiling in my room and a walk in door in hers. Both had locks. I don't know my locks very well, but they were of what I call the "bolt action" type because they remind me of bolt action rifles. You had to lift the handle out of its recess, move it, and drop it into the other recess to unlock it. Both locks were new, undamaged, and fit snugly into the portion that locked it. I was forbidden from entering the attic alone, and I never messed with the locks. The only other person in my house was my elderly grandmother, who couldn't walk up the stairs to get to our rooms.

Almost nightly, despite my mom making sure the locks were in place (always telling me she was putting something up in my closet, as that's where my trap door was), the locks would be neatly undone, and the doors slightly ajar. It was like clockwork.

As for what I saw...the most prominent thing I saw was one night while I was getting some water. I was going downstairs to get the glass, when I felt like something was looking at me. I looked to my left to our living room. In the living room was a coffee table. I swear to this day, I saw underneath the table...something. It sounds crazy to try to explain, but it was like an inky black form, darker than the night around it. Form wise, it seemed fluid, as though it was a central, fluid mass with tendrils coming away from it. In the center, two red eyes met mine.

I don't know what this thing was, and I make no claim to know. All I know was this thing absolutely, without question, hated me. It was livid at me for something I had done, though I know not what. It was angry at me, and it hated me. That's all I know. I didn't hang around long enough to get anymore information. I turned and ran. Needless to say, I went to bed thirsty that night.

We moved a few years later when my mom remarried. Nothing like that has happened since. I have no history of sleepwalking and nothing that would cause me to hallucinate or anything like that. I don't expect everyone to believe me, but that is what I saw.

Lots of the photo's I take (especially in Vegas, one of the most spiritually active places ) have orbs.
I do believe in spirits and have seen some.
As I sat at my kitchen table, reading, I saw a man dressed all in grey, walk out of my basement door, across the kitchen , and into the wall by the bathroom. It was similar to one I saw in Vegas. I just said "oh cool" and went back to reading.
